Before the beginning of each year, the Cokesbury Missions Team picks a new charitable organization as the recipient of the congregation's mission donations for each month.

For December 2011, that organization is the United Methodist Church Board of Child Care.

The Board has been helping and empowering children and their families since 1874. Today, the board serves more than 1,300 people through residential and community-based services. The goal of the board is to build a bridge leading to independence, success and confidence for children facing adverse life circumstances.
