The Cokesbury Missions Team picks a new charitable organization as the recipient of the congregation's mission donations for each month.

For January 2012, the mission is the Harford County Fuel Fund.

The Harford County Community Action Agency operates the Harford County Fuel Fund to assist needy families facing utility shut-offs. Any money donated to the HCAA Fuel Fund this winter will be matched by:

• The family requesting assistance
• BGE and
• A local business donor.

This means that for every dollar you contribute, there will be $4 going to keep a local family's utilities up and running. Harford County residents may receive this assistance only once each year.
